In the early 1940s, James Mondo Sr., started his career in the construction industry after working as a super for a large building and development firm (Morganti, Inc). He decided to venture on his own, performing residential and commercial sitework. In 1970, his son and current President came aboard, expanding the operations to include septic system installation and repair. In the early 1980s, we contracted with Southern New England Telephone Co., performing manhole construction and rebuilding conduit installation and relocation. The company quickly grew and became one of the largest and most qualified contractors in the area.

 

Now, entering into its third generation of contracting, Mondo Construction continues to grow and diversify, expanding its operation to include excavating, Hydro Vac Services, Demo, asbestos removal, and 1-10 yard concrete deliveries.
